Reese scores two touchdowns in win

Starting wide receiver Adrian Reese had eight receptions for 65 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed once for two yards for Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham (5-3, 4-2) in a 42-35 defeat of Albright. It was the first two collegiate touchdowns for Reese.
Esezi Otomewo started on the defensive line for Minnesota (6-2, 4-1) in a 41-14 win against Northwestern and had two solo tackles.
Reese Taylor played for Indiana (2-6, 0-5) in a 38-35 loss to Maryland.
Purdue (5-3, 3-2) defeated Nebraska 28-25. Broc Thompson caught two passes for 21 yards for the Boilers.
Dawand Jones started on the offensive line for Ohio State (7-1, 5-0) in a 33-24 win against Penn State.
Delbert Mimms saw action for North Carolina State (6-2, 3-1) in a 28-13 defeat of Louisville.
Daylan Carnell played for Missouri (4-4, 1-3) in a 37-28 win against Vanderbilt.
Damon Banks had one solo tackle and assisted on one for New Mexico Highlands (4-5, 4-4) in a 58-28 win against Adams State.
Starting wide receiver Noah Thomas caught five passes for 96 yards, with a long of 45, and had one solo tackle for Rose-Hulman (6-2, 5-0) in a 48-12 defeat of Bluffton.
Franklin (5-3, 3-2) defeated Defiance 13-7. Braden McGowan saw action for the Grizzlies.

MENS BASKETBALL
Taylor (0-3) lost 66-63 to Aquinas, 64-63 to IU-Northwest, and 63-57 to Governors State. Jeff Clayton played in each game for a total of 66 minutes and had 11 points (5 for 6, 0 for 0, 1 for 2), 12 rebounds, five blocked shots, two steals, two assists, and two turnovers.
WOMENS BASKETBALL
Micah Jett played 13 minutes for IU-Kokomo (0-1) in an 80-48 loss to IU-South Bend and had four points (1 for 3, 1 for 3, 1 for 2), four rebounds, one assist, and six turnovers.
Khera Goss started for Toledo in an 88-23 exhibition game defeat of Northwestern Ohio and had ten points (4 for 8, 1 for 3, 1 for 2), three rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one turnover in 18 minutes of action.
MENS SOCCER
Dany Escamilla played as a midfielder for Franklin (7-9-1, 5-3-1) in a 4-2 loss to Defiance.
St. Mary-of-the-woods (7-4-2, 5-3-1) defeated Carlow 9-2. Taiwo Anifowose, (90 minutes) , Victor Villagomez (76), Fausto Lopez (22) and Fatoke Anjolaoluwa (18) played for the winners.
MENS CROSS COUNTRY
Franklin placed sixth of nine teams at the 8K Heartland Conference Championships. Corbin Lee was 60th of 78, seventh for Franklin in 30:44.5.
Trine placed third of eight at the 8K MIAA Conference Championships. Zach Brickler was second for Trine and 12th of 114 overall in 26:06.7.
Heartland, Vincennes, and Kaskaskia competed at the Region 24 NJCAA (junior college) Championships at Eastern Illinois University. Second place Vincennes’ Manamanya Opiew was the regional champion on a muddy course in 27:41.3. Ernest Momodu was third for Vincennes and 13th overall in 29:08.7.
WOMENS CROSS COUNTRY
Transylvania, with only three participants, finished last in the nine team 6K Heartland Conference Championships. Toren Hartog was second for Transylvania and 49th of 81 overall in 27:53.2.
