Baseball team off to 2-2 start

The first week of the spring sports season saw the Ben Davis baseball team go 2-2 with wins over Southport and Covenant Christian and losses to Roncalli and Cathedral.
The Giants beat Covenant Christian 10-8 and won at Southport 10-0.
In other sports, the boys track team finished second in a four-way meet won nby Lawrenc North wioth North Central third and Roncalli fourth. The girls tennis team struggled with losses to Mooresville and Avon while the boys golf team dropped matches to Lutheran and North Central but a win over Shortridge. Senior Camron Jones was medalist twice with a 2-under par 34.
This week, three of our teams (baseball, girls track and softball) travel to Pike on Tuesday.
The highlight event of the week is a home track meet Saturday for our boys team that also will serve as senior night for the team.
