Xavier (2-0) defeated Wofford 70-64. Nia Clark, despite being plagued with foul trouble and playing only 22 minutes, led the Musketeers with 17 points (6 for 12, 2 for 3, 4 for 4) and had one rebound and three turnovers.

Toledo (3-1) defeated Northern Illinois 82-79 an lost 61-57 to Kent State. Khera Goss missed two shots, one from behind the arc, and had one rebound, two assists, and two steals in 29 minutes in the win; and nine points (4 for 8, 1 for 4, 0 for 1), three rebounds, two assists, one blocked shot, two steals, and one turnover in 39 minutes in the loss.

MENS BASKETBALL

Ball State (3-2) won 79-70 against Northern Illinois and 82-66 against Illinois State. Jalen Windham had six points (2 for 7, 1 for 6, 1 for 1) and one turnover in 17 minutes against NIU; and six points (3 for 6, 0 for 3, 0 for 0) , one rebound, one assist, and one turnover in 17 minutes against Illinois State.

Miami of Ohio (3-1) defeated Western Illinois 67-57 and Mount St. Joseph 79-64. Josh Brewer had three points (1 for 3, 1 for 3, 0 for 0) and one rebound in nine minutes against WIU; and three points (1  for 3, 1 for 3, 0 for 0) and two rebounds in 10 minutes against Mount St. Joseph.

Aaron Henry scored 15 points (6 for 13, 2 for 7, 1 for 1)  and had five rebounds, five assists, two blocked shots, three steals, and six turnovers in 28 minutes for Michigan State (6-0) in 28 minutes in a 109-91 win against Oakland.

FOOTBALL

Esezi Otomewo started on the defensive line for Minnesota (3-3) in a 24-17 defeat of Nebraska and had one solo tackle and one assisted tackle.
