CC boys finish fourth in county

The boys cross country team finished 4th in the Marion County Meet as 6 out of 7 Giant runners reached their personal records.
The girls cross country team claimed 12th in the county meet. Both teams will race in sectionals at BD this Saturday.
BOYS SOCCER
The boys soccer team fell 4-1 at Pike last Wednesday in the second round of the Marion County Tournament. The team then wrapped up their regular season with a 0-0 draw at home against Carmel on Thursday night. The Giants season ended in a 8-1 game vs Brownsburg in sectionals last night.
GIRLS SOCCER
The girls soccer team lost 8-0 at Pike in the second round of the Marion County Tournament last Wednesday. They will face Plainfield tonight at Avon to begin sectionals.
VOLLEYBALL
The volleyball team fell in three sets to LN in the first round of the Marion County Tournament. They will wrap up their regular season at Center Grove on Thursday.
FOOTBALL
The football team lost 31-9 at Carmel last Friday night. Chris Patterson had a 29 yard touchdown run and Angel Torres drilled a 21 yard field goal for the Giants. On Friday night, BD will host Lawrence Central in their final home game of the regular season.
UNIFIED FLAG FOOTBALL
The unified flag football team had their season end in a 54-50 thriller in the first round of sectionals against Mooresville on Saturday.
BOYS TENNIS
In the first round of sectionals last week, the boys tennis team beat Ritter 3-2 but then lost 5-0 against Covenant Christian in the sectional championship.
