Giants draw Roncalli in softball sectional

Ben Davis will open the 2017 IHSAA softball sectional on May 23 against Roncalli. It will be the second game of the evening following the 5:30 p.m. opener.

The sectional begins May 22 when Southport plays Perry Meridian at 5:30 p.m. followed by Pike and Decatur Central. Those winners will meet in the May 23 opening game.

The winner of the Ben Davis -Roncalli game advances to the May 24 sectional championship. All games are played at Holder Field and the sectional is hosted by Perry Meridian.
