Ben Davis finished second in the girls track sectionals last night behind Pike.

The Lady Giants were led by freshman Kyara Simmons who finished first in the 200 meter dash, senior Devyn Vandever who finished first in the 300 hurdles and the relay team of Ravon Woodson, Maya Caudle, Dajia Collier, and Simmons who finished first in the 4×100 relay.

Also finishing first for the Lady Giants was the team of Connie Brahm, Kyara Simmons, Devyn Vanderver, and RaVon Woodson in the 4×400 relay. Erynn Young finished first in the high jump.

The Lady Giants journey to state continues with regionals Tuesday, May 27 at Giant Stadium. Events are scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
