Oglesby finishes second in state, future looks good for wrestlers

Junior Norman Oglesby finished second in the state in the heavyweight division during Saturday’s state wrestling championships at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse.
Oglesby finished the season with a 46-3 record after losing to Cathedral’s Wesley Bernard, who finished the season undefeated at 53-0. Bernard won the match against Olgesby 5-3 to help the irish win the team state title.
Oglesby was one of three BD wrestlers competing at state. Junior Kasha Wilder finished the year with a 29-15 after losing in the first round Friday night to eventual state runnerup Fletcher Miller of Kokomo. Sophomore James Pritchett finished the year 27-13 after losing in the first round to Munster freshman Jason Crary at 113 pounds.
