Members of the Ben Davis football team will participate in a pancake eating contest Saturday at the iHop in Avon starting at 7:30 p.m.

The first 20 participants from the football team to enter the contest will have their pancakes paid for. Interested players should see coach Mike Kirschner.

The record number of pancakes eaten at this location in one setting is 19. If anyone beats that record Saturday, they will receive a free dinner at iHop and have their name entered in a chance to win free pancakes for a year. This is a team-building event that is meant to promote team spirit.
