It is another exciting weekend for MIC football.

On Saturday, Ben Davis plays Pike in the final game of a three-game day at Lucas Oil (7:30 p.m. kickoff). Pike is 1-1 in its first year in the conference while Ben Davis is coming off a 24-7 home loss to Warren Central. The Giants also are 1-1 in the conference.

In other MIC action this weekend, Class 6A No. 1 Center Grove is at defending state champion Lawrence Central tonight, Carmel hosts Lawrence North and North Central is at Warren Central.

This will be Ben Davis’ second trip to Lucas Oil this season. The Giants beat Cathedral 26-20 on opening night. Last year Ben Davis beat Pike 24-0 in the regular season and then lost at Pike 35-25 in the first game of sectionals.
