Coach’s season outlook:  “This season looks promising. We have all but one player returning from the varsity team last year and our JV team was fairly strong.

“We’ve had a number of girls working hard in the off season and should be ready to play hard from the start. Our hope for the season is to play with much more confidence and power.”

Key games on the schedule: “We are looking forward to a number of conference matches to improve our standing. Pike and Lawrence Central are joining our conference and we’ll be looking to challenge them and the rest of our competition.”

Opening match: August 20 at Brownsburg (first home match is August 29 vs. Terre Haute South)
