Hi, my name is Shakira, I’m a junior, and this is my first year in the newspaper. In school, I’m in my JROTC Drill Team, and this year will be going on my third year in the program and on the team. I have two younger siblings, one who attends Ben Davis and another who just started PreK. Outside of school, I love to listen to music, watch new shows and movies, shopping in stores and online. I love coloring, and hanging out with the people closest to me. I’m excited to learn new things and open myself to new opportunities that come with being a part of the newspaper.
