As Christmas is right around the corner there are many places to visit to see all the Christmas lights.

One great place to visit is the Indiana State Fairground light display. You drive around watching the lights and displays moving to the rhythm of the music you can hear by connecting to a radio station they give to you. The price is $30 a carload and reservations are required.

There is also a house display called Log Run in nearby Clermont. The house is fully decorated with different displays and Christmas characters. Another great place to visit is the Indianapolis Zoo for Christmas at the Zoo. There is a pathway you walk through and at the end of the pathway there is a nutcracker with an opening in its mouth filled with candy canes.

There is also a Santa letter mailbox where kids can mail their letter to Santa, all of this fun experience is free! This year there will not be any Christmas lights at the Indy 500 track but here is a list of other places to visit for free!

Lots of Lights at Stop 11 Rd- 334 E Stop 11 Rd Indianapolis, Indiana
Lights at the corner of Edgewood- State Road 135 and Edgewood Indianapolis, Indiana
Lynn Drive Lights- 8152 Lynn Dr Indianapolis, Indiana
Santa Claus House- 5609 N. Pennsylvania street Indianapolis, Indiana
The Grinch House- 1010 Royal Oak Court Greenwood, Indiana

And, of course, no Christmas season is complete without a visit to the monument circle, which boass the world’s largest Christmas tree.
