Unified finishes as sectional runner-up

The Unified flag football team won two games Monday night before falling to Brownsburg 39-38 in overtime in the sectional championship.
The Giants finish the season with a 7-4 record with all four losses coming with a combined 12 points.
In other Ben Davis sports Monday night, the boys soccer team beat Mooresville 2-0 behnd a goal by sophomore James Gilmartin. The Giants play Avon Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Decatur Central. Our girls soccer team opens sectional play at home Wednesday night.
