The first day of the 2019-2020 school year will have a new plan. No longer will Ben Davis have a Back to School Night in late August but that event will be combined with schedule pick up day.

That means the first day of the 2019-20 school year will look like this

• Monday, July 29, 2019

  • 8 a.m.-11 a.m:  Teachers meet in the theatre for Opening Day

  • 1 p.m.-7 p.m.: Back to School Night & Schedule pick up.

WHAT’S DIFFERENT?

• We will NOT be ringing bells, instead it will be a more open forum for parents and students to walk the building if they please.

• We will still have groups/clubs in the commons

• Teachers will be available during the 1-7 p.m. time frame to meet with students and parents.
