Three make speech nationals

Three Ben Davis students qualified for speech nationals based on their performance this past weekend in the NSDA Districts. Nationals are scheduled for June.

Below are BD results from the NSDA District tournament:

Nisean Jones (11) – sixth in Humor
Ezequiel Gonzalez(10) – third in Original Oratory – first alternate – Zeke will be advancing to Nationals , fourth in Drama
Richard Bowman (10) and Logan Collins (12) – third in Duo – first alternate
Ellie Johnson (11) and Romeo Barrientos (11) – sixth in Duo, Romeo was a semi-finalist in Humor
Destinee Thornton (12) and Tim Fields (12) – tournament champions in Duo – will be advancing to Nationals, Destinee was third in Drama
