On the night of Monday, February 10, the M.S.D. of Wayne Township Board of Education passed a resolution for make-up days. One of the snow days will be made up by adding one additional hour of instruction time to the regularly scheduled school days on March 4, 6, 11, 13, 18 and 20.

In other words, the school day for Ben Davis High School students will be extended one hour every Tuesday and Thursday in March until spring break, which begins Monday, March 24. The 10-period schedule does not include an “11th hour,” meaning after school activities will begin after the 3:20 dismissal bell.

The approved schedule is as follows:

Period 1: 7:20-8:19 (59 minutes)

Period 2: 8:25-9:25 (60 minutes, announcements)

Period 3: 9:31-10:30 (59 minutes)

Period 4: 10:36-11:02 (26 minutes, lunch period)

Period 5: 11:08-11:34 (26 minutes, lunch period)

Period 6: 11:40-12:06 (26 minutes, lunch period)

Period 7: 12:12-12:38 (26 minutes, lunch period)

Period 8: 12:44-1:10 (26 minutes, lunch period)

Period 9: 1:16-2:15 (59 minutes)

Period 10: 2:21-3:20 (59 minutes)
