Township asks DOE to review accountability system
Wayne Township sent three documents to the Indiana Department of Education this week asking the department to re-evaluate its A-F grading system.
Wayne Township is currently labeled a “C” district, and the letter states that the district “does not and will not strive for an “A” for the sake of the label; the township strives for excellence for the sake of our children. ”
Two of the supporting documents sent refer to studies conducted by Ben Davis AP and IB students last school year.
