Township to offer theatre camps during fall break
Students will find many options to stay busy during Fall Break in October.
Again this year, the Wayne Township Education Foundation is sponsoring theatre camps for students in grades Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Two separate weeks of camp are being offered.
Camps are offered from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. All camps will be held at Ben Davis. Each week of camp is $125. Registration information may be downloaded at www.wayne.k12.in.us/wtef. You can also call 317-988-7966 for more information.
Here is a description of the camps:
Musical Theatre Camp: October 14-18, 2013
Campers will learn about a variety of theater topics including: singing, acting, dancing, backstage work, costuming, improvisation, and theater games with a culminating performance of the musical “A Day At the Circus.” A performance of the show for friends and family will be held on the final afternoon.
Play Camp: October 21-25, 2013
Campers will learn about a variety of theater topics including: acting, dancing, backstage work, costuming, improvisation, and theater games with a culminating performance. A performance for friends and family will be held on the final afternoon.
