Wayne Township will not host a Relay for Life event this spring but instead, Key Club will be focusing its fundraising efforts with a Dance Marathon to support Riley Hospital.

Dance Marathons are popular on college campuses and several high schools in the area annually host a Dance Marathon. Ben Davis Key Club will host the Dance Marathon April 21 from 6-10 p.m. in the MPA.

Anyone can register and participate. Registration is $10 and includes a t-shirt.

The dance marathon will include four hours of music and fun. Participants are encouraged to raise funds. To register, follow these directions:

1. Go to donate.rileykids.org/BenDavisDM
2. Click Register, on the left side of the page
3. Click Individual
4. Click pay $10 or choose ‘pay later’ option
5. Make your fundraising goal
6. Click Next Step
7. Click “Join as a New Participant”
8. Complete all information
9. WRITE DOWN YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD
10. Click “Complete Registration”

Now you can share your profile on social media and send personal emails to family and friends asking them to donate. Also, you can go to your profile and personalize why you dance and even add pictures.
