Band finishes 9th in state finals

The Ben Davis Marching Giants placed ninth in the Class A state finals Saturday night at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Marching Giants will end their marching season this weekend with the Bands of America Grand Nationals beginning Thursday at Lucas Oil. Thursday is preliminary competition with semi-finals and finals scheduled for Saturday.

The marching Giants are set to perform at 8:15 p.m. Thursday. Their are 96 bands in the Grand Nationals. The top 30 from preliminary competition will compete Saturday morning and the top 12 will compete again Saturday night.
